and keep this updated :) I used to love to journal, but I don't think my life has ever been so dang busy! Anyway, I am now over half way thru with my pregnancy and am just updating. I cannot believe how fast this journey is going. I 'technically' have 17 weeks to go, but my OB said that she would do the C-Section on the 14th of April which is really only 15 weeks away! My pregnancy has gone wonderfully. I have only gained 4 lbs so that is a big plus! My IP's came here for the 20 week ultrasound. They were so cute...they could not decide if they wanted to find out the sex of the baby or not. I guess they kept going back and forth on the plane ride out here. I finally 'convinced' them to find out since I told my IF that my IM would be the first to know since she will be the only one in the room with me. That was all it took! The first thing the u/s tech said was "do we want to know?" Well, after the first time and then 2 more checks, we are pretty darn sure this is a little girl! Which is funny, because I have told them all along this was a girl. It is just too much like my pregnancy with my DD. My IF was so amazed at the u/s that he forgot to take a picture. He just stood there staring with the camera in his hand saying 'wow - wow'. It was great! The experience reminded me of why I am doing this. My DH was also in the room and said it was just 'too cool' to watch their reaction. We both realize what a blessing we will be giving this couple. They are so wonderful and deserving. I have never met a couple that is so sweet and sincere. They are very quiet and reserved as well. After the u/s they decided that they will be back in February for another one and then will return in April for the birth. The u/s made it more 'real' for them. Since I don't see them on a regular basis, even my emails just didn't drive it home... until they actually saw my 'belly' and the u/s...it just didn't seem like it was happening. Now they are decorating the room and buying clothing! I will post a belly pic soon!
